Tag In June my mother told me I was born with undescended testicals and had to go to 3 different hospitals before determining my gender. It was only at the age of 12 that I had fully developed genitals. I came out to my mum and I was not accepted. My family disowned me. I lost everything but no matter what I had to move on with my transition. I felt that I would not pass with short hair so I went for a full head weave extensions. These extensions marked the beginning of my journey of self acceptance and love

Tag COPY OF PRISONER OF AZKABAN. Very well loved copy from my teenage years and early adulthood. Harry Potter is one of the most important things in my life so when J K Rowling committed herself to transphobia, I was heartbroken, as many other trans people were. I wrote a letter expressing my sentimentality in the back for whoever ends up owning it in the future will understand what it meant to its previous owner. This is my favourite book ever. I see a lot of the person I want to be in Remus Lupin. Lots of love from Alex Wyatt-Witchell (they/them)
