Tag This is my letter of affirmation and self compassion, written to myself the day before I (finally!) had top surgery. I have created the letter here on my first and favourite binder (from the first released by Spectrum Outfitters), and decorated it with art showing a fat nonbinary body and top surgery scars. Bodility autonomy for all of us!

Tag Thesse are the first pair of goggles that I had owned in years. Since undergoing top surgery in early 2015 I have started to swim again. It's magical to fully savor the sensations of the water on my bare chest as I dive and swim underwater in the swimming pool and the sea. [Formatting Note: 2nd 's' of 'Thesse' is fainter, as though part of a draft spelling]

Green and Red Football T-Shirt University of Leicester

Tag Shortly after joining my uni women's football team in 2013, I began identifying as genderqueer, changed my name + pronouns to they/them. In 2015 I began testrosterone. Between this time and 2023 (when I began playing with Hastings Rec FC) I barely played football. This shirt represents my personal journey in overcoming my own fears as well as society's barriers to trans inclusion in sport.

Tag When I cam out I only told my mum and she told everyone else. Two weeks later I recieved this card + badge from my sister in the post. I never had the best relationship with my sister but this was first step in changing that.
