London Trans+ Pride
London Trans+ Pride was established in 2019 as a culmination of multiple issues the trans community was facing. One of these was that Pride in London allowed Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists (TERFs) to lead their parade in 2018. The 2024 London Trans+ Pride march is currently the world's largest trans rights protest ever to be held, with 50,000 to 60,000 trans people and allies marching through London. London Trans+ Pride hosts a stage at the Glastonbury Festival and collaborates with other radical organisations.

Tag THIS IS A SHEEP HOT WATER BOTTLE. IT BELONGED TO THE LATE THALIA TAMARI, 1998-2023. THALIA WAS A TRANS WOMAN FROM WALTHAMSTOW. AFTER MANY YEARS OF STRUGGLING TO FIND SPACES THAT WERE SUITABLE FOR HER, SHE COMMITTED SUICIDE IN DECEMBER 2023. MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE, TRANSPHOBIA AND NEUROTYPICALITIES’ INABILITY TO ACCOMMODATE TO NEURO DIVERGENT PEOPLE WERE CENTRAL TO HER SUICIDE. THIS SHEEP WAS a TEDDY SHE USED TO SLEEP WITH AND REPRESENTS ONE OF THE COMFORTS IN HER LIFE

Tag I wrote this speech for Trans Day of Remembrance in 2023. I lost my first trans friend the year before in 2022, to the Singaporean military, the icon of a state's apparatus of violence. And like many others, I was deeply in shock at the passings of Brianna Ghey and Eden Knight that year. However, my emphasis was on hope, helping each other, doing those who have departed proud, and love. I believed, and still do, that trans resilience and power can be practiced daily by just existing authentically.
