Trans Pride Manchester

Trans Pride Manchester was established in 2023 to uplift, fight with, connect, and stand beside the trans people of Manchester and its surrounding areas, no matter what that transness looks like or the journies they take. TPM does not do this alone and acts alongside a thriving community of activists and groups around Manchester looking to support and protect our most vulnerable, trans or not.

TPM today organises an annual march, often with workshops, speeches, talks and more, as well as events throughout the year like social gatherings, art projects, zines and more. Trans Pride Manchester wishes to stand amongst all its folk, Trans Pride Manchester wishes you well.

Trans Pride Manchester

1–2 Aug 2026

Our day on the 1st of August starts early, beginning our speeches at 10am in Sackville Gardens before marching and returning to Sackville! After that we'll have more speeches, a performance from a local queer choir, finishing at about 1pm

Then, at around 2pm our day splits up for whatever folks would like to be apart of! At Bridge 5 Mill we'll have workshops for folks to craft, create, and learn together, as well as talks from different groups covering things relating activism, our rights, our health and hope. These talks and workshops will run concurrently and until 6pm, with lots of opportunities to drop in and out. At Central Library, we will be hosting activities for Young People, including poetry, conversations about transness and learning all about activism, these will run until about 5pm.

Then in the evening continuing at Bridge 5 Mill we will have the return of our event Queer Friends Club, a kind of speed-dating but for finding friends! and a ttrpg space for folks to roll dice all the way until 10pm!

Alongside that will be our after-party at 11pm ran by the lovely T4T at Islington Mill and our pre-drink event ran by Trans Pub Club!

Then!!! If that wasn't enough, on the 2nd of August, we'll be back at Islington Mill for a day filled with food, craft and blood testing!! We're very lucky to be working with Sapphic Bison to bring our community to safe and free blood tests as well as extra tests that can be purchased!

Our route is entirely step free and has minimal changes to height throughout. There is also a shorter access bloc which can join into the march at the half way point for a shorter route and as well as a rally point remaining at Sackville Gardens for folks who do not want to march at all.

All events at TPM on both days are step free and is a sober event aside from the T4T after-party and the related pre-drinks
