Trans Pride Leeds was established in 2017 as the first Trans Pride in the North of England. It held its first events in 2018, and after a post-pandemic restructure, it is reviving its original mandate.

Tag I wrote 'Before We Were Trans' (2022) because our narrow, damaging standards of what makes someone 'really trans' were narrowing + damaging our history too. We can do trans history in an ethical, caring, anti-racist way. Conversations with other trans historians made me realise that.
