Trans Pride Hastings is an annual community celebration in Hastings, St Leonards and the surrounding areas.

Saturday 11th is Trans Town when we ask the folk of Hastings & St Leonards to show the trans community some love. Sunday 12th is Trans Pride Fest, a mini festival day in the grounds of Hastings Museum.

Tag Growing up with a brother of a similar age, my mother would always buy us two of everything. This toy was first time I had asked for something different. I didn't want to play with 'his' toys, I wanted my own. Her name was Tango. I was six.

Tag In 2020, during the Pandemic, Sophie Williams + Jo Alloway set up a grassroots trans healthcare fundraiser in East London. I donated money to create merchandise and my friend, Hannah Dickins, donated time to design the concept. She is a queer graphic designer. This bag represents community organisisng to help our trans siblings. Sophie Williams took her own life in may 2021 because of NHS trans healthcare waiting lists. In memory of Sophie xxx.

Tag Shortly after joining my uni women's football team in 2013, I began identifying as genderqueer, changed my name + pronouns to they/them. In 2015 I began testrosterone. Between this time and 2023 (when I began playing with Hastings Rec FC) I barely played football. This shirt represents my personal journey in overcoming my own fears as well as society's barriers to trans inclusion in sport.
