Tag: My Wedding Ring. Back in 2014 this ring became my most beloved possession, meaning more to me than anything before it, and making me feel safe and secure. Now, however, I can't wear it. Not because it means less, but because it means more. That relationship and the close connection I had to my partner are the reason I was able to look at the deepest, most vulnerable part of myself and understand that I am transgender. Without it, there may have been less pain for us both, but I may never have known who I am. This is a relationship that was meant to be, but never meant to last. (I still love her x) A.E.
