Tag: Handcrafted neon sign of my chosed name. It was one thing to change my name on paper via deed poll, but it never felt like I'd earnt my new name. I felt people would look at me and they'd just know I had another. Silly really, but committing my name to large, tacky bright neons helped me feel I 'owned' name and noone could take it.
