Tag: I wrote this as a way of expressing how I felt about my body, and the journey I took to get to this point. on a whim I pitched it to Diva, and they really loved it + published it, which was amazing! Afterwards though, I suddenly had doubts, as its such a personal bit of writing + photography (its me in the photos!) I spoke to a friend for reassurance + they said some-thing that stayed with me - "when you write about personal stuff you're not just writing for you, you're also writing to let others know they're not alone" [Formatting Note: scribbled-out word between 'they're not' & 'alone']
