Tag: Damaged T-Kingdom binder. circa 2015. This binder is poorly made, of thick, uncomfortable fabric. It was painful to wear and broke a rib once – but still offered feelings of gender euphoria and reconnection with my body. It represents a complex relationship with binding, especially when safer options and trans-centered companies were not around & how imperfect means are better than none.
