Scans From Personal Art Foundation Journal Titled 'Illustrations Of Ambiguity'
MOT/2024/NDOTC/BRIS/018
Tag The scans are from my 'reflective journal' that we had to keep at my art foundation. I don't know if its because my project was about transness that I felt able to so freely expose my internal fear and confusion. So here it is. In these drawings I am trying to reimagine myself. Trans men existed then, "ftm", but non-binary was almost a myth that I'd collected scraps of. The funniest thing about all of this is how subconscious it was. I wasn't aware I was trans, really. Art was the only place I gave name to it. But in doing so, I was able to give myself the clarity and certainty I needed to realise myself and come out.

Second Skin Kinesiology Tape
MOT000170
Tag I found that my binder didn't make me flat at all and instead just gave me a "Boob shelf" so I started using Duct tape to seperate out my breasts and kind of hide them under my arms. I was trying to be stealth at the time which did not work at all pre-hormones. My breast gave me so much dysphoria I was doing anything to flatten them. Eventually when I took my tape off one time I also took a layer of skin, Then I moved to using the sports tape here as it is made for HUMANS.
