Plaster Hand
MOT/2024/NDOTC/DUND/008
Tag Plaster cast of owner’s hand as a 10 year old, mallorca in 2011. Represents me figuring out my identity as a 13 year old. Important to me because I fixed it up from a broken state, during a time in my life I also felt fragile. This was the same year I met my internet friends who were my first trans support network, who helped me pick my name + still support me to this day. The date of donation (20/4) is the date I came out to my family in 2016 + the date of my first gender clinic appointment in 2018!

Poem Written With Fancy Calligraphy
MOT/2024/NDOTC/EDIN/028
Tag The first poem I've written in 15 years. Written in secretary and court hands. Transition has given me back energy, creativity and joy I thought I'd lost, and given me a wonderful connection with some incredibly talented and inspiring queer creatives. I want to make things again, because it's for myself now.
