8 Large Format Prints Of A Dancing Couple
MOT/2024/NDOTC/GLAS/003
Tag Partner dancing is traditionally very straight and gender conforming. The lead/follow dichotomy reflects and deepens other societal assumptions; man/woman, speaker/listener, active/passive. In fusion we switch - that is to say the norm is not to be a leader or a follower, but to switch roles, sometimes many times within a partnership or 3 minute song. We approach each dance and partner with openness and curiosity about where the connection will take us. It becomes a true conversation where leading and following, like gender, can flow.
