Tag Fusion is an emergent partner dance inspired by blues, tango, west coast, contact improvisation and a whole host of other influences. The UK fusion dance community has evolved into a space which is not just queer friendly but truly, deeply queer and trans. At fusion events, trans and cis attendees alike can dance, organise, create art, and explore their gender expression in weird and wonderful dance parties.

Collage With Fern Leaf

Tag OBJECTS FROM MY STUDIO WALL. I am an artist + workshop Facilitator in Birmingham, who is queer + non binary. I chose these objects as the fern was collected during a workshop session with my employer. This is the first workplace i came out in. I think it is important to remember nature is queer. I share my studio with another trans artist + close friend of mine, Ray. He is a great inspiration and support, and has been vital to my coming out. I dedicate this to him and the love + loyalty that exist in so many trans + queer friendships.
