- "Cherish Trans Lives" banner Banner reading "Cherish Trans Lives", the letters made from blue corduroy cuttings, stitched onto white cotton fabric. The banner was made by Aras Ertan for Brighton Pride 2022, and was also used in the anti-trans activist Posie Parker counter-protest in Brighton on 18 September 2022.

Barbara Ross Order of Service Memorial

Tag Barbara Ross (1929 - 2015) began her career in gender counselling in 1974. Ross founded the Norfolk-based Gender Identity Services, and founded OASIS (a support group for trans people and loved ones) by the early 80s. In 2001, she organised the first Internationaal Transgender Conference at the University of East Anglia. In 2011, she was awarded an OBE for "services to Gender Dysphoria."

Tag I wrote 'Before We Were Trans' (2022) because our narrow, damaging standards of what makes someone 'really trans' were narrowing + damaging our history too. We can do trans history in an ethical, caring, anti-racist way. Conversations with other trans historians made me realise that.
